It has always been a dream of mine to help give back through my business Clary Hollow and I am proud to say that for almost a year now we've been able to donate a portion of our sales to an amazing local organization that provides support and resources to the breast cancer community.
I've had ongoing breast health issues since I was in my 20's. I've had multiple lumps scanned over the years, ultrasounds and mammograms yearly since I was in my early 30's. Most recently I had to get 2 biopsies after an abnormal mammogram and there are so many feelings happening while waiting for the results. A recurring thought that I kept having was where do I turn next if these come back cancerous? I wouldn't even know where to start. It was shortly after that I started working with Going Beyond the Pink. I realized that this organization would have been part of my support system if my results had come back differently and they are exactly the type of people I'd want in my corner. Their passion for what they do and the genuine support and compassion they give the breast cancer community is truly amazing. I decided to donate a portion of my sales to them because I want to use my platform to help them keep doing the good they're doing.
Going Beyond the Pink is about empowering breast cancer patients and survivors to thrive beyond the fear and uncertainty of a breast cancer diagnosis. They go beyond pink ribbons and awareness to serve the breast cancer community in meaningful ways by providing resources and critical information from diagnosis, through treatment, and into survivorship.
